Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages a team that coordinates the programs of a non-profit organization. Designs and implements programs that support the organization's mission, vision, and goals. Being a Program Manager (Non-Profit) monitors program operations for quality, efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizes a client relationship management (CRM) or another system to organize information and facilitate outreach communications, perform forecasting, and measure the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Manager (Non-Profit) implements a fundraising and development strategy to identify potential donors or funding sources and conduct outreach initiatives. Collaborates with partners to ensure that special events publicize the organization and its programs to the community and support its goals. May assist in the development of grant applications or proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager (Non-Profit) typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     No prior medical work or certifications are needed. No prior professional driving experience needed. A safe driving record and compassion is a must!

    Some additional information:


    • Working Hours: (8–10-hour shift w/one weekend day a month), Various Shifts.
    • Ambulatory hourly starting rate: $15.88/hr
    • Wheelchair hourly starting rate: $17.53/hr
    • Biweekly Paychecks
    • Overtime – Available – Very common for drivers to work 50 hrs per week.


    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Pick up clients at home or other living facility. Provide the assistance required to safely board clients and caregivers.
    • Transport clients to area hospitals and other authorized clinics.
    • Ensures wheelchairs and passengers are properly secured before starting vehicle for transport.
    • On arrival at medical facility, assists clients in exiting the vehicle and reaching the proper offices or treatment areas.
    • Check the vehicle to ensure cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail.
    • Follow company safety and operational policies and procedures.
    • Ability to operate mobile devices, company email, various software and operate company GPS units.
    • Perform pre/post-vehicle inspection and maintenance checks via company software.
    • Follow safety protocol during loading and unloading procedures.
    • Communicate transport details with dispatch in a dynamic environment.
    • Possess a friendly and courteous attitude when transporting clients.
    • Other functions may be assigned as necessary.


    WHAT IS A NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL DRIVER? AKA, NEMT
    A Non Emergency Medical Driver requires no prior medical/professional driving experience. Your day-to-day would consist of transporting clients who are not able to drive themselves to and from appointments, dialysis, and other hospital visits and back to their home. All of your trips have been pre-booked and you will know always know your daily schedule a day before.

    Wheelchair passengers are transported in Chrysler Voyagers (Mini Van with Wheelchair ramp). We will train on proper wheelchair securement. Many of our patients do not require a wheelchair, and many of our drivers are standard passenger vehicles: Ford Escape, Ford Fusions, or Chevy Malibus.

    • Ability to lift, push, pull, and position clients throughout the workday.
    • Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, and bending.
    • Ability to drive for over an hour while maintaining company standards.


    Requirements:


    • Valid VA Driver’s License
    • For Hire Endorsement welcome, but not required
    • At Least 25 years old
    • Safe Driving record
    • Can pass a drug screen
    • Clean background
