Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages a team that coordinates the programs of a non-profit organization. Designs and implements programs that support the organization's mission, vision, and goals. Being a Program Manager (Non-Profit) monitors program operations for quality, efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizes a client relationship management (CRM) or another system to organize information and facilitate outreach communications, perform forecasting, and measure the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Manager (Non-Profit) implements a fundraising and development strategy to identify potential donors or funding sources and conduct outreach initiatives. Collaborates with partners to ensure that special events publicize the organization and its programs to the community and support its goals. May assist in the development of grant applications or proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.   • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our client's team.

    Position Description: The Program Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining a symbiotic relationship with the project's Ship Manager. This collaboration aims to support the project overall, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost-effectiveness. The Program Manager will work across multiple departments, leading and facilitating teams to address challenges proactively.

    Responsibilities:

    Successfully execute programs during pre-production, production, and avail closeout phases.

    Hold departments accountable for meeting schedule and cost goals throughout each project.

    Maintain and develop the Lifecycle Management System, utilizing the Earned Value Management System and daily project observation.

    Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and materials teams to communicate project material demands in alignment with the schedule.

    Review quality key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement across all project trades.

    Monitor and manage the Change Process, ensuring quick and accurate processing through contracts/sub-contracts teams.

    Monitor TIP/OQE completion to support project quality requirements and schedule goals.

    Monitor cost and schedule performance across all departments, evaluating and developing mitigation plans.

    De-conflict subcontractor issues in alignment with overall schedule goals.

    Work with Ship Managers to develop area management plans before production starts, supporting work strategy and sequencing.

    Exercise judgment in anticipating schedule and budget deviations, providing solutions for resolution.

    Coordinate communication and feedback with customers to resolve technical issues.

    Understand and adhere to NAVSEA Standard Items (Repair) and commercial standards.

    Manage conflict in a collaborative working environment.

    Support meetings and tasking as assigned by the Director of Programs.

    Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Skills Required:

    Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.

    Fluent in scheduling tools, critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and schedule mitigation strategies.

    Proficient in risk, opportunity, and cost management.

    Experience Required:

    Eight (8) years of relevant program management experience, including managing cross-functional teams.

    Strong comprehension, organizational, reasoning, decision-making, and communication skills.

    Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret numerical and/or statistical data.

    Education Required:

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, Finance, or a similar field.

    Education Preferred:

    PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
