Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages a team that coordinates the programs of a non-profit organization. Designs and implements programs that support the organization's mission, vision, and goals. Being a Program Manager (Non-Profit) monitors program operations for quality, efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizes a client relationship management (CRM) or another system to organize information and facilitate outreach communications, perform forecasting, and measure the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Manager (Non-Profit) implements a fundraising and development strategy to identify potential donors or funding sources and conduct outreach initiatives. Collaborates with partners to ensure that special events publicize the organization and its programs to the community and support its goals. May assist in the development of grant applications or proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager (Non-Profit) typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description
    As a tax manager, you will lead and manage all phases of non-profit and individual client tax advisory and compliance engagements. You will be expected to manage clients independently and possess excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills. You will perform technical reviews of corporate and individual returns, participate in training and supervision of staff, conduct tax research and advise on tax matters.     Responsibilities:
    • Apply tax knowledge to preparation and/or technical review of complex individual and non-profit returns.
    • Perform tax research with view for compliance and alternatives to satisfy client's objections
    • Prepare/analyze income tax notices for federal and state jurisdictions
    • Client management and participation in marketing/business development
    • Participation in recruitment and supervision of staff

    Requirements:
    • 5-10 years of tax preparation experience
    • CPA/EA License
    • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
    • Self-motivator with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
    • A strong desire toward career advancement and goal toward future firm ownership.
    • Excellent work ethic and a sense of humor are a must!

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Strong background in Individual and Non-profit  tax filings (including Form 990 and 990-PF)
    • Consultative/Advising experience in successfully managing IRS correspondence and guiding new tax exempt organizations
    • Knowledge of CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, and QuickBooks
