Creates program materials, establishes staffing requirements, and ensures that the program achieves stated objectives. Additionally, Program Specialist (Non-Profit) measures the performance of programs and makes adjustments to optimize results. Utilizes a client relationship management (CRM) or another system to organize information and facilitate outreach communications. Works with partners on special events that publicize the organization and its programs to the community. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Specialist (Non-Profit) work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Currently seeking a Registered Nurse, Hospice for a non-profit organization in the Edgewater MD Area. RN would be providing one on one in-home visits for end-of-life patients living in private homes across Southern Anne Arundel County

    Organization is well established, with a great reputation for quality of care in the state of Maryland. Position offers great work life balance and the opportunity to spend one on one patient time!

    Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM with NO weekends or on-call!

    Benefits and Compensation for the Registered Nurse, Hospice:

    • Highly competitive salary ranging from $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year depending on years of experience or qualifications
    • 18 vacation days, 10 sick days, 6 holidays
    • Mileage reimbursement at the IRS recommended rate
    • 401K with company paid match

    Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse, Hospice:

    • Provide assessment, diagnosis and implementation of plan of care for end of life patients living in private homes across Southern Anne Arundel County, MD
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (physician/provider, social work, chaplain, etc) in order to provide highest level quality of care.

    Requirements of the Registered Nurse, Hospice:

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous clinical experience working with the geriatric patient population ideally in long term care, hospice, home health, acute care or related setting
