    Job Summary
    Reporting to the Director of Advancement Services and Stewardship, the Gift and Constituent Records Specialist performs varied administrative, technical and analytical duties and provides day-to-day administration in support of University Development programs within Advancement. The incumbent serves as the main resource for faculty, staff, departments, and community, in diverse and complex matters of policy, procedure and practice by providing information, historical background, and rationales as it pertains to gift processing and data management and maintenance. The incumbent performs a wide variety of administrative tasks of a responsible and difficult nature requiring independent judgment, and the application of a comprehensive knowledge of a variety of policies and procedures. Contacts involve interaction with all levels inside and outside the university, and may include dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

    Key Qualifications
    This position requires a bachelor's degree and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. Two years in a direct administrative support capacity preferred. Requires solid computer skills, including at minimum intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, email, database, and web publishing software and Raiser's Edge are required. Experience with Google Suite, Adobe and PeopleSoft highly preferred.

    Salary and Benefits
    Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $3,288 to $4,250 a month. This is a full time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

    This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
