JOB SUMMARY
As the Biofuels Regulatory Program Specialist, you will support the corporate carbon reduction strategy for state and federal biofuel regulatory programs. This includes, but is not limited to: compliance activities for the federal Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS), state specific Low Carbon Fuel Standards (LCFS), and international renewable energy standards. You will constantly be seeking out new low carbon opportunities from federal, state, and international biofuel program incentives. Once opportunities are identified, you then develop economic models to help gauge the financial impact of any new strategies and create programs to ensure full compliance once commercialized. You will engage with a cross section of the POET business network, including POET Biofuels, POET Legal, POET Research, POET Bioproducts, and POET Bioprocessing. In addition, you support communication between POET and the applicable regulatory agencies.
