Program Supervisor coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Community Education's Extended Learning (CEEL) Program is an elementary afterschool program with a focus on extending learning including homework help, enrichment courses, and physical activity. Programs operate at Corl Street, Easterly Parkway, Ferguson Township, Gray's Woods, Mount Nittany, Park Forest, Radio Park and Spring Creek Elementary Schools. The program supervisor is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of this program. Duties include but are not limited to: communicating with parents, maintaining records, planning classes and enrichment activities, purchasing program supplies, assisting in the hiring and supervision of support staff, etc.
This is a full-time position, eligible for benefits. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Education, HDFS, or similar field, as well as three years' experience working with elementary-age children.
