Program Supervisor coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Assistant Program Supervisor supports the program in a variety of functions according to the needs of the program. Duties may vary based on program needs and requirements. Typically, the Assistant Supervisor is a role held by one employee. However, in programs serving around 40 Individuals or more, this role may be split into two separate positions with emphases as described below:
The Assistant Program Supervisor with a Certification emphasis develops qualified Adult Family Homes by recruiting, screening, and certifying Family Home Providers. They ensure initial certification requirements are met and that developed homes and Providers are in alignment with the philosophy and values of the company as well as all internal and external regulations and policies.
The Assistant Program Supervisor with a Quality & Compliance emphasis is responsible for oversight of Family Home Provider compliance with certification requirements and recertification of Providers and family homes. They are responsible for ensuring that quality supports are provided to Individuals. They are responsible for auditing documentation in Individual records to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Education and/or Experience |
Related bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or University plus one to two years related experience preferred; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to solve problems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs. |
