Program Supervisor coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Our goal is to extend hope and healing to children and families whose lives have been traumatized by abuse and/or neglect in its various forms, sever family problems and mental health issues.

    We are looking to hire a full time Supervisor for our Visitation Program to provide supportive services to families and facilitate fee for service supervised visits between children in foster care and their biological families or children with their non-custodial parent. The Supervisor will provide supervision to interns, co-facilitate parent educational groups and other tasks as needed.

    Typical Duties Include:

    Complete intakes in a timely manner and assign cases to interns and per diems.

    Provide supervision to Family Support Worker and Interns.

    Supervises visits between children and biological parents and develops appropriate activities to ensure that the visits are meaningful.

    Hire and train part-time, per-diems and interns.

    Provides support to parents that includes establishing a trusting relationship with the assigned parent(s), visits, phone contacts and assistance in times of crisis. 8. Implements and provides support and educational groups for parents as needed.

    Maintains a small caseload.


    Education/Experience/Other Requirements:

    Masters or Licensed Master’s level from an accredited program in Social Work, Psychology, Professional Counseling, Family Studies, Child Development or other relevant course of study or a Bachelor’s degree in related field with 2 to 3 years experience working with families.

    Experience working with parents and children who have been separated from one or more parents due to the courts and/or Department of Children and Families (DCF) is preferred.

    Work a 40 hours non structured work week including evenings and weekends.

    Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
