Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is the state agency that focuses solely on policies, programs, and services for people with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or any combination of these. As Georgia’s public safety net, DBHDD operates six field offices and five hospitals throughout the state within three program areas: behavioral health, developmental disabilities and hospital services.

    Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah (GRHS) is a state-funded multi-service facility operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. The hospital provides quality care to mentally ill adults and individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities from its 34-county catchment area in Southeast Georgia. GRHS opened in December of 1970 with a design to decentralize mental health services in the state and treat people nearer to their homes and families. The hospital provides evaluation and treatment to clients needing care. The hospital's admitting office is a psychiatric emergency receiving facility open 24 hours a day.

    GRHS is seeking candidates for the position of TIP Coordinator (Therapeutic Incentive Program) / Healthcare Program Consultant Supervisor, working 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday.

    Job Description:

    This position will be responsible for the hospital’s Therapeutic Incentive Program (TIP). The TIP Coordinator will assume primary responsibility for program monitoring, fidelity, and outcome evaluation as directed by the Rehabilitation Services Director. Duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Overseeing the daily operation of the Therapeutic Incentive (TIP) Program
    • Coordinating hospital-wide staff training
    • Operating the TIP Store
    • Overseeing special TIP activities/events
    • Supervising the TIP Storekeeper position
    • Being chair of the TIP hospital committee
    • Managing the database for the hospital's TIP Master Point Card Schedule
    • Working with unit staff to ensure proper implementation of programming including staff monitoring and individual satisfaction survey data and other duties as assigned by supervisor

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master's degree in a health or human service field AND Three years’ experience in an inpatient facility/ forensics facility and experience with token economy systems, One of which in a supervisory role OR Bachelor’s degree AND Five years’ relevant experience, Two of which in a supervisory role.
