    Summary

    Enhances, administers, and supports SRP's Microsoft Exchange messaging environment. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Exchange Online hybrid environment, including the email related portions of the Microsoft 365 platform, as well as the email security systems, SMTP endpoints, email automations, and application integrations. Provides administration for both cloud and on-premises email systems.

    What You'll Do

    • Apply ongoing and future Exchange and MS 365 enhancements based on technology roadmaps
    • Work with stakeholders and peers to design, deliver, and enhance Messaging services
    • Proactively maintain, configure, and monitor SRP's Messaging environment and infrastructure
    • Develop, maintain, and adhere to system documentation and procedures
    • Troubleshoot and determine root causes of complex issues, failures, or outages
    • Monitor support queues and provide end user support with exceptional customer service
    • Provide mentorship to other team members when applicable

    What It Takes To Succeed

    Requires in-depth working knowledge of and experience in the following areas:


    • Exchange Online
    • Outlook email clients, including the PC and Mac desktop applications, as well as mobile and web.
    • Microsoft 365 Platform
    • Email security platforms (EOP, Defender, ProofPoint, and / or equivalents)
    • Knowledge and application of Microsoft and industry best practices and security principles


    Preferred knowledge and experience in the following areas:

    • Other MS 365 apps such as SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Bookings, Azure AD, Viva Engage, etc.
    • Automation capabilities such as PowerShell, Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate), MS Graph
    • Hybrid Exchange Deployments featuring on-premises Exchange servers (2013 or later) and SMTP relay
    • Supplementary email platforms such as Kiteworks Managed File Transfer and Fax2Mail or equivalents


    The successful candidate will possess the following strengths:


    • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with clients of varied technical skill levels
    • Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
    • Well organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Experience

    Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1 and demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 2, is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.

    Education

    Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.


    Hybrid Workplace

    SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
