Project Controls Manager develops and implements standardized project controls to manage budgets, scheduling, and quality for engineering, construction, and other types of projects. Establishes controls and operating policies that identify, monitor, and mitigate risk factors that could impact the success of a project. Being a Project Controls Manager creates standard methods for project estimating, procurement, accounting, work breakdown structure, contract management, reporting, and other project-related processes. Ensures controls address cost or budget considerations, scope changes, supplier performance, and other risk levels. Additionally, Project Controls Manager provides guidance and consultation to project managers. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Project Controls Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Project Controls Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.   • Role Responsibilities:

    Rust Automation & Controls, a representative of Endress Hauser Inc., is looking for an Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team in Western North Dakota & Eastern Montana.

    As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will interact with industrial & commercial end users, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), & system integrators to sell the products & services of the manufacturing partners that Rust Automation & Controls represents.   

    • Learn about all products offered by Rust Automation & Controls.

    • Prospect & promote products, solutions, & services to the commercial & industrial accounts within the territory. 

    • Grow territory sales and gross margin for assigned products through personal visits, video conferences, emails, text messages, & telephone calls.

    • Engage dormant customers through personal visits, video conferences, emails, text messages, & telephone calls.

    • Work with manufacturing partners via telephone calls, emails, text messages, webinars, seminars, & on-site visits.

    • Work with the Sales Support Professional Team to supply needed information for customer accounts promptly. 

    • Perform site walk-downs in industrial & commercial environments.

    • Manage a robust CRM database with accounts, account contacts, active opportunities, & projects.

    • Articulate solutions & work with a team to execute.

     Job Requirements:

    • A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a recognized related field or 3 years of experience in sales and/or service in a related industry/company, or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through similar means.

    • Working knowledge of general instrumentation and valve products and the ability to develop some technical and application subject matter expertise for assigned product(s).

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills to maximize business contacts and develop working relationships with potential and current customers.

    • Good organizational and time management skills and the ability to work productively on an independent basis, as well as collaboratively with others.

    • Ability to retain and effectively articulate customer information (names, product standards, account history, associated customer value, etc.) and technical product information (product applications, features and benefits, etc.).

    • Basic PC skills and ability to utilize various software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), as well as interface with Customer Relationship Management database.

    • Ability to access customer equipment which may involve stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs, walking scaffolding, catwalks, etc.

    • Ability to comply with customer safety standards including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (respirators, goggles, hearing protection, etc.) when visiting customer facilities.

    • Willingness, as well as the ability, to travel.
