A FL based general contractor is in search of a Project Manager for their Bradenton office. They focus their efforts on a variety of commercial work such as office buildings, schools, storage facilities, retail projects, banks, etc. They have a significant backlog of projects and are hoping to add another Project Manager to their team. This is a privately held, mid-size builder that has an outstanding retention rate and a family-oriented culture.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
· 5 years of experience in commercial construction including multi-story projects
· Experience managing projects of at least $5 million
· Experience with financial responsibility, preconstruction activities, scheduling, and close-out functions for the project
· Ability to form strong relationships with subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, etc.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred
