We are currently seeking an energetic, collaborative, proactive, and people focused individual for our open Human Resources Manager position to be based in either our Bolivar, OH or New Haven, IN facility. This thoughtful, motivated individual will be charged with leading and directing the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department and assisting in the promotion of our corporate values and shaping a positive culture.
Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within Cablecraft. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing HR strategies and policies, managing recruitment and hiring processes, fostering employee relations, labor management, overseeing performance management, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for promoting a positive organizational culture and supporting the professional development of our associates. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working in Human Resources, has strong communication skills, and can demonstrate exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
· Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes employee engagement reflecting our core values.
· Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including sourcing candidates, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
· Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
· Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and payroll.
· Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms that drive high performance.
· Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
· Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date.
· Ensure the organization’s compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including but not limited to wage and hour regulations, and workplace safety standards.
· Assist management in training and development programs to support the growth and advancement of our workforce.
· Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, and ensure they are consistently applied and communicated effectively.
· Stay informed about current trends and best practices in HR management, and recommend changes or improvements as needed.
· Lead and manage the HR team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities as needed.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
· 5 years of experience in HR management roles, with demonstrated expertise in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
· Experience in unionized environments preferred.
