Role Responsibilities

• Provide technical, application and product support, including pricing and delivery information to salespeople and customers
• Review incoming orders for proper product selection and application.
• Support Outside Sales with lead qualification/follow-up, Bid specifications and Project bid specifications
• Answer sales personnel’s questions regarding doing business with Rust Automation & Controls (tools and processes)
• Perform field visits to customer sites for relationship development, training, and driving sales
• Assist and manage certain sales initiates to drive business directly with customers

Job Requirements

• Actively seeks information to understand customer circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs
• Acts independently through personal initiative
• Demonstrates an understanding of customer needs to initiate solutions
• Implement customer feedback to improve overall experience and prevent issues from occurring
• Thinks critically with problem-solving skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and bid specifications
• Effectively present information in a clear and organized manner, and respond professionally and appropriately to questions of managers, reps, and customers
• Ability to read P&ID drawings & engineer specifications to align the bill of materials of our product offering to match those requirements
• Basic knowledge of Pressure, Temperature, Analytical, Flow, Level, etc. type transmitter equipment, and their corresponding ISA type symbols and abbreviations a plus.
• CRM experience such as Salesforce, Netsuite, or equivalent systems. (Preferred)
• Experience with Excel, Word, and other general Microsoft type software.
