Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a Project Manager, your roles and responsibilities as Senior Project Engineer would encompass the following:

• Performs essential project management tasks such as updating project schedules, processing submittals and RFIs, assisting with the subcontractor procurement process, coordination, project delivery and close out.
• Document Control - review & understand all contract documents. Maintain all sets of construction documents. This entails ordering, coordinating delivery, updating, and distributing of all drawings.
• RFIs - Monitor RFI status and maintain the RFI log. Generate RFIs and distribute all answered RFIs to appropriate parties. Notify subcontractors, suppliers, A/E, and Owner for delinquent RFI responses. Update RFI Log weekly, generate RFI status reports for use in weekly meetings.
• Submittals - Oversee the system (Submittal Log and any software that is used on the job) that gathers, generates, submits, tracks, distributes, and maintains all submittals on the project. Ensure that all submittals are properly reviewed for conformance to the Contract Documents prior to submittal to the Architect, and are fully executed and approved in accordance with the project schedule.
• Team Communication - Be able to demonstrate excellent people skills with the project team.
• Assisting Field Supervisors with Project Coordination - Work closely with field management to help coordinate the delivery of materials, dates/times that specialty subcontractors will be on site, notification of contract document changes, and anything else that the field management may need.
• Meeting Minutes - Prepare and distribute all project meeting minutes.
