Project Engineer - Construction provides technical oversight, review, and engineering analysis of construction projects to ensure compliance with time, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements. Reviews and approves specifications, designs, bids, contracts, drawings, change orders, and progress reports. Being a Project Engineer - Construction monitors project progress. Identifies and assesses engineering project risks, and develops mitigation strategies and solutions. Additionally, Project Engineer - Construction facilitates collaboration among project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a manager. The Project Engineer - Construction work is closely managed.     Overview:

    Our Project Engineers assist in the overall administrative and technical direction of the construction projects and work closely with the Operations team to coordinate materials, orders, reports, estimates, and other project related duties.

    Essential Functions:

    • Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Project Managers to create more efficient methods and maintain profitability.
    • Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project. 
    • Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the collection of project data. 
    • Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation procedures. 
    • Establish the methods by which field tests are administered and develop various ways to monitor the quality of those tests.

    We are looking for someone with:

    • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or industry related field.
    • Working knowledge of construction terminology and familiarity with construction project terminology.
    • Excellent project management skills. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Field management skills a plus. 
    • Familiarity with construction project management and scheduling software. 
    • Proficiency of MS Office suite.
