Project Engineer - Construction jobs in Johnstown, PA

Western PA Site Contractor is looking to hire a dependable full-time entry level Project Manager to join our expanding company. The schedule for this position is generally Monday thru Friday. Some flexibility is required to travel for pre-bid site visits as needed.

Summary of work:

• Candidate will help team with contract management, preparation of subcontracts, project scheduling, invoicing, and allocation of resources.
• Manage project takeoffs and project documentation.
• Use computer-based software (In-Site) to help obtain project quantities.
• Review proposal specifications and drawings to understand the complexity of the project.
• Obtain material and subcontractor pricing for the proposed bid through competitive quotes and negotiated terms.
• Perform submittal documentation.

Requirements:

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand project plans, specifications, and scope of work.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
