Project Engineer - Construction provides technical oversight, review, and engineering analysis of construction projects to ensure compliance with time, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements. Reviews and approves specifications, designs, bids, contracts, drawings, change orders, and progress reports. Being a Project Engineer - Construction monitors project progress. Identifies and assesses engineering project risks, and develops mitigation strategies and solutions. Additionally, Project Engineer - Construction facilitates collaboration among project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a manager. The Project Engineer - Construction work is closely managed. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGYou will assist the project management team with tasks such as negotiating and purchasing materials, maintaining documents, and acting as a point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Create Submittals and RFI's.
- Coordinate projects from start to finish.
- Assist with estimating.
- Project setup & closeout.
- support field operations.
- maintain detailed job costs.
- Work professionally with owners and engineers.
- Assist in scheduling projects and crews.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORThe ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering, construction management, or another related field and is willing to travel and work the days and hours required to ensure the project's success.
