To help continue our success, we are looking for a full-time Project Engineer to join the Engineering Team at our corporate headquarters in Davenport, IA.  This position is instrumental in developing, updating, and implementing existing plant equipment upgrades and new plant design and installations for open pit limestone, dolomite and granite operations.  Company operations are located in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri.  Candidates must be willing to work within all locations and travel as necessary (Typically less than 10% overnight travel).

 Major Project Engineer responsibilities include:

• Preparing computer aided design and drawings that are necessary for selection, layout, fabrication and erection of all equipment used in quarrying operations
• Provide direction, and direct supervision, as needed, to shop fabricators and field installation personnel
• Provide technical assistance for all company operations, as needed

The ideal Project Engineer candidate will have the following qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, from a U.S. accredited University
• 3 years of experience in project design
• Experience in structural analysis and design would be a plus, but not required
• Excellent organizational, oral, written, and analytical skills
