Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for executing a variety of projects related to pipelines, compressor stations and gas processing facilities. This individual will work alongside field personnel and construction managers to oversee projects from conception to completion.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Management of Change (MOC) process for the Project Engineer’s designated area.
• Apply data gathered from pipeline simulations to real world scenarios.
• Analyze process simulations and demonstrate an ability to relate them to projects.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and interpret results.
• Communicate technical project details to construction managers and provide guidance for execution.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day project issues with the construction group.
• Conduct regular field meetings with construction and operational personnel.
• Relay high level project details to stakeholders and share project schedules with management.
• Periodic daily travel to and from various gas processing facilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of gas processing experience
• Prior knowledge of natural gas gathering and processing facilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with process simulation software packages
• An understanding of the various PSM elements
• Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards (e.g. API, ASME, etc.)
• A good driving record is required and must be maintained.
• Reside and report to WTG headquarters in Midland, TX.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
