We will be adding Project Managers to our team. The candidates should possess a minimum of at least 5 years in civil construction. The individuals should be flexible self-starters, detail-oriented team players with the ability to manage multiple demanding projects while producing quality work and meeting deadlines consistently.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager / Engineer at George Nice & Sons, Inc. The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk and business management of multiple projects. Working closely with the Project Executives, Superintendent and the Foremen, the Project Manager will also be responsible for the following:

• 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.

• Reads, understands, and ensures compliance with all elements of all applicable contracts.

• Have a complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting.

• Manage cost control, billings, collections, change management, and monthly status reports.

• Accountable for meeting all deadlines, project completion, financials, and customer satisfaction results.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software, Accounting cost management and scheduling software.
• A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
• Experience in expediting projects and managing logistics
• Strong project management skills
• Knowledge of inspection processes and regulations
• Excellent listening, communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work on-site in Toano, VA
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred
