• Works with operations, quality and/or utilities departments to develop project scopes
• Optimizing Usage of Utilities
• Provides engineering and design specifications to vendors and contractors for equipment and processes.
• Analyzes current equipment processes and procedures to identified areas of improvement.
• Documents engineering charts and site drawings of the facility and major systems in a current status.
• Provides assistance and trouble shooting of problems.
• Coordinates and supervises the installation and start up of new and modified equipment.
• Designs and implements modifications to existing equipment.
• Develops and maintains projects in SAP R/3.
• Develop project budget and track costs through implementation and closure
• Creates change control requests and coordinates where applicable
• Leads safety reviews before and after implementation of new projects
• Creates and keeps ‘job books’ for projects
• Assist/lead maintenance and/or operations improvements initiatives
• Knowledgeable of computers and computer programs with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to read and produce to engineering drawings
• Auto CAD experience, preferred
