ROLE: Janitorial Project Manager
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with minimum 5 years' relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3 years' relevant experience
- Minimum of 1 year custodial/janitorial-related work experience
- Must be an effective communicator (both written and verbal)
DESCRIPTION: At minimum, the Janitorial Project Manager will be responsible for:
- adhering to VAMC cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, as needed) for identified hospital locations, systems, surfaces, and other features;
- managing the schedules of a janitorial team to ensure appropriate coverage during identified shifts. This includes establishing on-call and/or contingency staffing to ensure cleaning/maintenance schedules are followed as directed at all times;
- maintaining the janitorial staff and coordinating with the HGS Corporate Office to fill vacancies if/when they occur; and
- other related duties as assigned.

- Be a U.S. citizen
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Capable of spending long days on your feet for hours at a time
- Ability to walk a multi-level, multi-building facility campus with limited breaks (field work)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
