M&J is seeking a Project Manager in the Washington Metropolitan Area who will be responsible for planning and overseeing a project from beginning to end. This position typically balances the budget, keeps track of supplies, collaborates with subcontractors, and ensures all regulations are met and permits acquired.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the construction project.
• Manages the budget and estimate costs.
• Collaborates with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key team members of the project team.
• Allocates and manages resources to ensure that they are available when needed throughout construction projects,
• Conducts site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
• Supervises the work of field employees and gives them guidance when needed.
• Evaluates progress and prepares detailed reports.
• Ensures adherence to all health and safety standards, in addition to all relevant building and safety codes. and reports issues.
• Manages construction schedule and activities.
• Coordinates efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Masters Degree in Engineering, Planning, or Economics (or similar)
• 10 - 15 years related project management experience
