    About the Role:

    EnTech is currently seeking a full time motivated senior Civil Engineer experienced in managing projects and staff and enjoys interfacing with clients. EnTech provides a wide range of Civil Engineering services including transportation, grading and drainage, stormwater management, utility design and relocation, and site development. The preferred candidate will have experience in these areas and is expected to have expertise in several.


    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
     
    • Developing and overseeing civil planning and design services for transportation, drainage, grading, erosion/sediment control, storm water management, and utilities (i.e.,water, sewer, storm drain).
    • Design development from the preliminary through final phase and providing technical input, expertise, and guidance to design staff.
    • Leading the developing design reports, cost estimates, specifications, cross sections/profiles, and preparing final contract drawings.
    • Providing engineering services provided during construction.
    • Coordinating with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the schedule and budget.
    • Participating in project meetings with clients and the project team.
    • Participating with the team in all project phases including initiation and set-up, status monitoring, design, quality assurance reviews and completion/close-out.
    • Make recommendations for corrective action and implement, as agreed.
    • Managing multiple projects concurrently.
    • Developing technical scope and preparing level of effort and cost estimates for proposals.

    Required Qualifications:
     
    • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in NY State required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
    • 12 years’ relevant experience.
    • 5 years of project management experience.
    • A successful track record of managing projects including scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Experience in utility design in urban environments and streets a plus.
    • Experience with NY metropolitan area municipal clients and agencies a plus.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
    • Strong technical writing, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.
    • Leadership qualities and the interest and ability to mentor junior staff.
    • Detail orientated with emphasis on quality work product.

    Estimated Annual Compensation:
    $140,000 - $180,000
