Emerson is currently hiring a Project Management Specialist at our Marshalltown, IA location. This role will be responsible for supporting Project Managers and customer projects from quotation to final delivery in a fast paced, global environment. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: 

• Provide a primary contact for Emerson Impact Partners for project related activities
• Implement activities required for order and change order processing and interface with the support customer, Emerson Impact Partners, and various departments within Fisher Controls to resolve processing problems to support the customer requested ship date
• Coordinate submission of project deliverables: Inspection and Test Plan, drawings, manufacturing procedures, Performance Bonds, Insurance Certificates, etc.
• Provide diligent and systematic follow-up and expediting to departments for scope of work
• Monitor project progress and submit periodic milestone status reports
• Arrange and coordinate customer third party inspections as required
• Provide support for any other previously unidentified requirements to the Project Manager or Project Administration group as assigned

 FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: 

• Associate's Degree and 2 years of related experience OR in the absence of experience, a Bachelor's Degree is required  
• Proactively builds relationships and influences others
• Accurately assesses problems and effectively and efficiently arrive at solutions
• Deliver clear, effective communication and listen to others
• Meet the expectations and needs of customers
• Ability to make good decisions in a timely manner
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART: 

• Experience with Manufacturing or Construction Project Management preferred
