RemoteWe are looking for a Director, Value Stream Management – Integrated Project Team (IPT) Integration leader to join the Connected Battlespace and Emerging Capabilities (CBEC) organization within Mission Systems. CBEC’s vision is to help our DoD customers envision the future battlespace through our Demonstrations, Experiments and Emerging Capabilities. The IPT Integration role is chartered to accelerate the integration of CBEC’s cross functional team by documenting best practices and creating or updating new formal frameworks, policies and procedures to enable the organization to scale. Additionally, the IPT Integration role will lead efforts to create a culture of performance excellence within CBEC. In this role, you will work with a cross functional team to refine and develop new parts of our operating model to enable sustainable growth and realization of our vision. The Director, Value Stream Management – IPT Integration will work with technologies and capabilities from business units across Mission Systems and RTX to fuel future business growth and solve the most challenging and emerging customer CJADC2 mission problems. This position will report directly to the VP/GM.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement an External Integration Plan to enable efficient 2-way communication with external CBEC stakeholders
Work with a Cross Functional team to evolve and complete our CBEC Best Practices Playbook
Maintain the CBEC Charter to drive alignment across our organization, interface with other Mission Systems organizations to ensure proper collaboration framework between CBEC and product line portfolios
Enhance our Lifecycle Process by updating our CMS aligned documentation and training
Enhance our organizational effectiveness by designing and leading relevant educational, mentoring and training programs that will benefit CBEC team members
Interface and align with other program managers, business development, strategy and engineering personnel across Mission Systems.

Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience leading direct-reports is required
Experience managing programs as a Value Stream Leader using the Collins Management System (CMS)
Expert working knowledge of CMS, Earned Value Best Practices and Forecasting Best Practices
Experience working with U.S. Department of Defense customers
Preferred Experience:
Active and transferable Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance on Day 1 is preferred
Experience briefing senior leadership (SBU and BU President Level) and external customers
Experience working in white space areas with highly fluid requirements and rapidly evolving technical baselines
Experience leading cross functional teams in a remote environment
Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience providing positive interface with DoD customers (US Air Force, US Army, US Navy, FVEY and International partners) and Prime contractors

The salary range for this role is 171,000 USD - 343,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
