Project Management Director develops and directs project management operations and strategic planning to meet organizational goals. Provides overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery. Being a Project Management Director establishes methodologies to set productivity and quality targets and to assess results for all projects. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions. Additionally, Project Management Director monitors and analyzes project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and to propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects. We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the medical device industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Director of Project Management to their team. Responsibilities include:
1) Oversee all phases of product development, design transfer, and Dev-Ops for the company's cloud-based infrastructure and applications related to AI-based ECG algorithms
2) Establish and cultivate strong collaborative relationships with internal and external design/development partners, manufacturing partners, and service providers
3) Offer critique and design guidance to ensure the proper implementation and traceability of design outputs in comparison to design inputs
4) Support the optimization of design control elements to adhere to medical device regulations
5) Act as a coordinator between delivery, cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, and data science resources
6) Create and take ownership of project plans, budgets, and other project documentation
7) Conduct audits of standards concerning new updates and changes, ensuring compliance
8) Participate in software code reviews and other inspections of design output
9) Ensure compliance with product security and cybersecurity policies
10) Provide technical support to Marketing for technical brochures, training programs, and technical presentations to customers and the sales force
11) Stay informed about the technical product landscape, competitive products, and regulatory requirements for ECG devices (including AI-Enabled ECG Systems)
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in IT
