Project Management Manager manages and directs the work of project managers and provides managerial oversight for multiple projects. Monitors project scopes, costs, schedules, staffing, communications, outside vendors, and contractual deliverables. Being a Project Management Manager develops standards, processes, and tools used for effective project scheduling and to set and manage quality targets. Addresses internal or vendor issues that may impede project delivery and develops solutions. As a Project Manager you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of fabrication projects from award to completion. This role is crucial in ensuring the production team understands project completion time, allotted budget, and quality standards required to make the project successful.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule. Coordinate with various departments to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
· Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients. Communicate project progress, address any concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
· Resource Management: Work with Team on coordination of manpower, equipment and materials to ensure efficient project execution.
· Quality: Ensure issues are addressed promptly.
· Team Leadership: Work with Production, QCs and other staff. Ensure effective collaboration and problem-solving.
· Financial Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in heavy steel/pipe/vessel fabrication.
· Strong understanding of fabrication processes and techniques.
· Excellent communication skills with others
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· PMP certification is a plus.
· Proficiency in P6 Primavera scheduling a plus.
· Detail oriented and self-motivator.
