General Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring milestones and program requirements are completed according to the company schedule, and ensuring accurate reporting and execution of the program management system. Assignments will have a strong emphasis on coordination and execution of cross functional projects that impact all aspects of new aircraft development, both technical and business related. The individual will be responsible for developing reporting tools, scheduling updates, dashboards, and presentations to support executive level decision making.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develops, coordinates, and manages integrated program/project schedules and certification activities.
2. Interfaces with Sales, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Flight Test, Finance, and other organizations to ensure company milestones are completed according to program requirements and schedule.
3. Develop tools, processes, and key KPIs for executive level transparency into program performance and execution
4. Lead coordination of program meetings and decision making process
5. Own risk, action, issue, and decision logs
Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
1. 5 years of Program Management experience
2. Working experience in airplane development and/or aerospace program management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Working knowledge of Engineering, Production, Supplier, and Certification processes within the aviation industry is preferred.
2. Experience in airplane development
3. Knowledge of business aviation industry preferred
4. Fundamental understanding of program/project management processes and procedures.
5. Program and project management certifications are a plus
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
7. Excellent executive presentation skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to work in an Integrated Product Team to resolve technical, business and customer issues.
9. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners and throughout all levels within an organization.
10. Ability to travel as required <25%
Physical Requirements:
1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).

6. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
7. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
