Job Overview:

Sanford Federal, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead a federal contract for the maintenance of the Rocky Gap ATV Trail on the Allegheny National Forest. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project to ensure timely and successful completion within budgetary constraints. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to execute maintenance activities effectively.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the trail maintenance project, including planning, scheduling, and implementation.
• Coordinate with internal team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress and performance against established metrics and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure project success.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and safety standards.

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Project Management, Environmental Science, Forestry).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction, forestry, or environmental management sectors.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of federal contracting processes and regulations is desirable.
• Experience in trail maintenance or outdoor recreation management is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $81,002.00 - $87,914.00 per year
