Project Management Manager manages and directs the work of project managers and provides managerial oversight for multiple projects. Monitors project scopes, costs, schedules, staffing, communications, outside vendors, and contractual deliverables. Being a Project Management Manager develops standards, processes, and tools used for effective project scheduling and to set and manage quality targets. Addresses internal or vendor issues that may impede project delivery and develops solutions. Additionally, Project Management Manager tracks at risk metrics and facilitates actions to keep projects on track. Clearwater Construction & Management is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Spokane, WA.
The Project Manager will estimate, schedule, plan, lead, and coordinate all activities associated with the overall execution of construction projects. An excellent PM will be well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures and be able to work with a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve a successful project outcome.
Clearwater’s focus is on Water and Wastewater, Bridges, and other infrastructure projects. Experience in similar Heavy Civil construction is preferred.
Responsibilities
· Estimate and Bid projects
· Negotiate contracts and Purchase Orders
· Lead Project Meetings with owners and engineers
· Set Budget, and manage with Project Superintendent, and other team members. Maintain project budget and develop project projections
· Schedule project and assist Superintendent and team in successfully completing project on schedule.
· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
· Complete project Pay Applications, and change orders as required
· Submittals and material procurement to meet specifications
Skills
· Experience with Public Works and DOT entities preferred
· Proficient in comprehension of plans and specifications
· Good knowledge of MS Office
· Experience with MS projects, or other schedule software
· Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
· A career-oriented team player with leadership abilities
Experience/ Education
· Minimum 2 years of Project Management Experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, preferred.
