Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team to support our government customer in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the GPP and Infrastructure Projects to the baseline schedule and cost. Day to day responsibility and management of the GPP and Infrastructure Projects, responsible for accurate reporting of project progress on a weekly basis to the GPP and Infrastructure Director and Monthly to senior management and the DOE Carlsbad Field Office (CBFO). It is the PMs responsibility to ensure compliance with all DOE EVMS requirements. Change control management throughout the Project lifecycle to the minimum extent possible. Manage all subcontracts to minimize scope growth. Ensure Project Function Requirements are met throughout the lifecycle of the project. Assist the CAM in performing those duties. Ensure the schedule is maintained on a weekly basis and that the top 3 critical paths are identified to the Capital and Infrastructure Manager on a weekly basis. Ensure change documents are processed in a timely fashion, both internally and also to the CBFO. All cost deviations are managed through the change process on a monthly basis. Manage the procurement process for each contract within the GPP and Infrastructure Projects. Participate regularly in Site meetings and informational update meetings.
Exempt Salary Grade (32-36)

Starting salary $90,142 per year *
*Base salary will be dependent upon candidate's background (i.e. education and experience).
