Project Manager - Construction directs day-to-day construction project management planning and execution processes to meet project design requirements, schedules, and organizational financial objectives. Manages governance of projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle. Being a Project Manager - Construction uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets. Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports. Additionally, Project Manager - Construction manages strategic client and contractor relationships and establishes clear lines of communication. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions. Analyzes project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Project Manager - Construction supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Project Manager - Construction typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     We are looking for a Construction Project Manager (PM) candidate to join our Field Operations team at Fr. Bragg/Liberty in Fayetteville, NC. PM's are responsible for leading all aspects and phases of a project from conceptual design to final completion in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • A BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is the minimum formal education required for this position. A combination of equivalent work experience and training in the field may be qualifying.
    • Two (2) or more years' experience or equivalent in commercial project management required.
    • Six (6) or more years or equivalent work experience as a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager (or equivalent) in the construction industry required. Work experience in the design-build industry desired.
    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office - esp. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required.
    • Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit) preferred.
    • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications required. Training can be provided. STS certification preferred.
    • LEED GA Credential or AP/AP preferred.
    • Hospital construction experience is ideal but not necessary, depending on related experience.
