Manages governance of projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle. Being a Project Manager - Construction uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets. Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports. Additionally, Project Manager - Construction manages strategic client and contractor relationships and establishes clear lines of communication. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions. CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
You normally work from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday with some rare weekends.
In this project management position, you supervise our jobs from beginning to end to make sure we complete quality work. You do it all, from obtaining permits and ordering supplies to monitoring timelines and directing field workers. Thinking strategically, you do whatever it takes to ensure we get the job done on time, within budget, and according to client desires.
You visit job sites, supervise your team's work, advise them when appropriate, and make sure everyone's following safety procedures. A master problem solver, you look ahead to identify and avoid potential roadblocks as well as address any issues as they come up. You develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to support efficient job completion. Your project management skills make a massive impact on our success!
