Being a Project Manager - Construction uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets. Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports. Additionally, Project Manager - Construction manages strategic client and contractor relationships and establishes clear lines of communication. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions. Analyzes project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Project Manager - Construction supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Project Manager - Construction typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 annually depending on experience, plus bonus opportunities
    Status:   Full-Time / Direct Hire Position     
    Hours:   Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00pm

    The Opportunity:   
    As a Project Manager at Golden Coast Construction and Restoration, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing fire restoration projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of the restoration process, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery while maintaining excellent communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

    Primary responsibilities may include the following:    
    • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.  Collaborate with the estimating team to create accurate and comprehensive project budgets.
    • Execution and Monitoring:  Coordinate and supervise restoration crews, subcontractors, and vendors.  Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.  Address and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the restoration process.
    • Client Communication:  Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.  Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and any changes to the scope of work.  Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and maintaining open communication.
    • Quality Control:  Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure work meets industry regulations and client expectations.  Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of work and compliance with safety protocols.
    • Budget Management:  Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with the approved budget.  Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality of work.
    • Risk Management:  Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.  Proactively address issues to minimize project delays and additional costs.
    Minimum requirements for consideration for this role are:    
    • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the fire restoration or construction industry (open to train individuals who lack project management experience but possess a construction background). 
    • Strong knowledge of restoration processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Pre-employment Background and DMV Check Required.
