Project Manager - Construction directs day-to-day construction project management planning and execution processes to meet project design requirements, schedules, and organizational financial objectives. Manages governance of projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle. Being a Project Manager - Construction uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets. Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports. Additionally, Project Manager - Construction manages strategic client and contractor relationships and establishes clear lines of communication. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions. Analyzes project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Ducas Construction is a Commercial General Contractor located in Scarborough, ME. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all necessary resources throughout the entire project, from start-up through closeout this includes project budget, costs, schedule, client and subcontractor relations, risk management, insurances, general work performance, quality, and overall progress against the plan. The Project Manager shall ensure that both the Owner’s and Ducas’s expectations for Project budget, schedule, and quality guidelines are met or exceeded.
