Project Manager - Construction directs day-to-day construction project management planning and execution processes to meet project design requirements, schedules, and organizational financial objectives. Manages governance of projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle. Being a Project Manager - Construction uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets. Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports. Additionally, Project Manager - Construction manages strategic client and contractor relationships and establishes clear lines of communication. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions. Analyzes project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Project Manager - Construction supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Project Manager - Construction typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Requirements:

    • 5 years of previous construction project management experience in large multi-unit or commercial construction
    • Construction Project Management Degree (Preferred)
    • Strong computer skills
    • Be able to navigate and use Microsoft Office

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Managing and overseeing multiple construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring that they are up-to-date and accurately reflect the status of each project.
    • Developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring that they are up-to-date and accurately reflect the status of each project.
    • Obtaining estimates for future and current projects.
    • Submitting semi-monthly draw requests to banks, financing institutions, or clients to ensure that our in-house teams, and subcontractors, are being paid on time.
    • Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are clearly understood and that all parties are aligned on project goals and objectives.
    • Coordinating and managing subcontractors and construction teams to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the required quality standards.
    • Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any issues or risks that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality standards.
    • Developing and implementing risk management plans to mitigate project risks and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before construction work begins.
    • Preparing and submitting project status reports to clients, stakeholders, and senior management, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
    • Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, motivating, and empowering them to deliver high-quality work that meets project requirements.
    • Overseeing other managers, superintendents, and company construction employees to ensure that all our construction projects are profitable and successful.
    • Ensuring that all company construction projects are completed in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
