Project Planner
Steel Manufacturing Company in Fort Worth, TX
Salary: $65,000 to $75,000
Bonus potential will be up to 7.5% quarterly and 7.5% annually
Job Summary:To coordinate, evaluate and prioritize the project plan as per the project strategy.Duties and Responsibilities:- Meet all established project deadlines.
- Regularly keeps management informed of problems, issues, and status of on-going projects.
- Manage all the activities of a special project to ensure continuity of production flow and success of the project.
- Responsible for coordinating various functions required to fulfill the scope of the special project.
- Ensures that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy.
Minimum Job requirements:- 1-2 years experience in steel fabricating.
- Commensurate work experience that is deemed appropriate and acceptable by the hiring manager and president.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:- Planning skills
- English, computer: good
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identifies and addresses problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
- Proficiency with AutoCad, word and excel is required.
- Sigma Nest is a plus.
- Must be able to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Strong interpersonal skills; a team player and independent worker.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
Conditions of Employment:- Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre-employment physical examination/medical history check.
- Possession of a valid Texas driver’s license is a requirement for this job.
Working Conditions- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- No or very limited physical effort required.
- No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
