    Position Description

    General Summary

    A Project Scheduler is responsible for planning, developing and maintaining work packages for EPC Industrial Construction Schedules.

    Essential Job Functions


    • Regular and reliable attendance.
    • Develop schedules for projects with necessary information to allow efficient scheduling, assignment and execution of work.
    • Visit jobsite on occasions, if possible, to identify risks and hazards and to aid in trouble shooting.
    • Follow all KS Industries, LLC safety, and customer policies and procedures.
    • Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed
    • Scope and plan upstream/ ND01 work in SAP
    • Work @ TOC
    • Review work and adjust task lists
    • Review time confirmations to understand work execution
    • Weekly field visits
    • Create Material Masters
    • Work with engineering to plan new projects/ campaigns
    • Stay current on CBT’s

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Ability to read and write in English
    • Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions in English
    • Ability to communicate with employees and various business partners in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Knowledge of technology (iPads, cellphones etc.)
    • Ability to utilize a computerized management system (Oracle Primavera p6, MS Projects, MS Suite)
    • Ability to read standard engineering documents. (P&ID’s, Iso’s, Construction Prints…)
    • Experience with continuous improvement processes
    • Problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints
    • Able to multitask, effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects
    • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Ability to mentor and coach others
    • Effective meeting management
    • Excellent organizational skills

    Education and Experience
    3-5 years maintenance planning experience within the petrochemical, manufacturing, production or oil & gas relevant industry experience. A High School Diploma/GED is required, additional education and certifications preferred.



    Working Conditions: The locations vary from site to site. Work is physically demanding and requires the ability to concentrate well on the job at hand, in all types of weather. Majority of the work is construction-based work. Walking and working surface vary depending on the terrain, from flat to extreme slopes and frozen, wet, snowy and slippery conditions.

    Working Hours: Normally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5-10’s and weekends. All labor laws in reference to rest breaks and meal periods will be followed.
