Project 2231, a family-owned Hospitality and Entertainment company that operates Miss Lucille’s Marketplace, Miss Lucille's Cafe,  Dock 17, The City Forum,  ACME Athletics, and Varsity Pins, is looking for a Maintenance worker for our warehouse.

Maintenance workers will perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring tidy and functional facilities.

Our ideal candidate is reliable with a keen eye for detail; they will have prior maintenance experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Job Summary:

As a Warehouse General Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, cleanliness, and safety of our warehouse facility. This role involves a range of maintenance tasks to support the efficient operations of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, mopping repair, and upkeep of warehouse areas.
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
• Identify maintenance needs such as electrical issues, plumbing problems, and structural repairs and report to the Maintenance Manager.
• Repair and maintain warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Complete tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing doors, and ensuring safety signage is in place.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment for the safety and well-being of all employees.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Physical stamina and dexterity for various maintenance tasks.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, crawl, and access awkward spaces.

Salary: From $13.00 to 14.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7 am 12 pm

Occasional weekend
