    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Develops plans and schedules and manages the project team goals by monitoring milestone completion.
    • Assists in estimating a timescale for a project and ensuring that the outlined deadlines are met. Proposes improvements as necessary.
    • Adheres to project budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
    • Organizes and hosts regular project meetings with relevant team members and stakeholders. Ensures the communication channels are open.
    • Keeps management up to date on progress and project status in a timely manner. Clearly relays critical information such as alarms and warnings verbally and in writing (email).
    • Prepares the monthly progress reports. Updates schedule on a weekly basis. Manages project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary material are current and properly stored.
    • Collaborates with program managers and engineers to capture requirements for projects and presents them to the project team.
    • Collaborates with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project as well as to address any issues that arise. Assists in developing solutions to identified issues.
    • Follows up with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchased parts.
    • Assists in building, reviewing, and executing critical path analyses.
    • Coordinates with Sales and Program Management regarding status of products under development, as well as interfaces with Operations department to ensure a smooth New Product Introductions (NPI) process for the project.
    • Learns inventory database and supports project by maintaining proper levels of parts quantities on hand. Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies to support the projects’ schedule.
    • Implements DCAA compliance strategies when requested including material procurement, reporting requirements, and audit analysis.
    • Supports special projects and government programs as requested.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
