Job Description:
Location: This position is remote/ hybrid-eligible, provided the candidate resides within the following markets: Santa Fe, Denver, Las Vegas, Dallas, Los Angeles, Florida, and New York.
Compensation: Compensation for candidates based in Colorado is $78,489-$105,960 and will vary based upon experience and other locations.
Deadline: The deadline for submitting applications for this position is March 15, 2024. Meow Wolf reserves the right to extend this deadline if needed.
How you will do it...
Develop comprehensive lists of work tasks, deliverables, and receivables for creative, artistic, and show disciplines
Identify task relationships, schedule logic, key milestones and project constraints and integrate into project plans and schedules
Prepare detailed design, production, construction, installation, testing and programming schedules and integrate those schedules into the overall project master schedule
Status schedule progress and prepare and publish monthly updates to the detailed project schedule
Prepare contract milestone schedules for consultant, vendor, and contractor scopes of work
Perform schedule reviews for contract conformance
Monitor schedule performance and develop workaround plans and recovery schedules when required to keep the project on schedule
Identify schedule related issues which arise during project execution and provide creative solutions and recommended corrective actions
Develop ad hoc checklists, completion lists and percent complete trackers and reports to assist the team in monitoring their performance and keeping them on schedule
Assist in the development of innovative project tracking and reporting tools and the development of project update documentation for executive reviews
To be successful in this role...
Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management
3 - 5 years of experience scheduling the design and execution phases of highly integrated projects, such as themed entertainment, museum, or location based entertainment venues
Vendor management experience with custom fabricators, show set fabricators, lighting, audio, and other show technical vendors
Proficiency in schedule creation and updating using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and/ or Asta Powerproject schedule software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and/or Numbers
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and/ or Keynote
Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with a multitude of disciplines and a variety of team members with various levels of experience and working styles
Excellent verbal and visual communications skills
Superior organizational skills and an aptitude for logical thinking and problem solving
It would be nice to have...
Proficiency using NetPoint project scheduling software and Timeline Maker or Office Timeline Gantt chart creation software
Experience participating in or facilitating design phase interactive pull planning sessions
Eagerness to create, innovate, experiment, and adapt to find the best solutions to solving project challenges
Work environment & physical demands...
This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm MST - occasionally requiring flexibility to work during evenings or weekends based on business needs
Periodic travel is required for this position.
Physical Demands:
Standing or sitting for long periods of time; ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
