We are currently recruiting for the position of:

SPECIALIST, PROMOTIONS - 1800 Standiford Ave., Modesto, CA 95350

The Specialist of Our Brands Assortment will support the Our Brands department in creating promotional plans, product assortment proposals, vendor negotiation analysis, Our Brand Marketing campaigns, point of sale material and all other related administrative duties related to price, promotion, product and product placement. This will also include building presentations and providing internal and external consumer insights and product or category performance analysis. The Specialist will also be coordinating product samples, supplier and product information TSMC’s internal departments.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Support OB Developer in the category review process to optimize category assortment

• Facilitate work of in-house vendor partners; communicating expectations, inspecting schematics, and meeting with key stakeholders to review projects and timelines

• Work with item maintenance and 3rd party imaging services to ensure information accuracy and timing

• Coordinate marketing material including shelf tag design with the OB Brand Manager and the Marketing department

• Support promotional planning process and keeping the promotional calendars current and aligned with Advertisings production calendar, meeting all deadlines required by the advertising teams

• Develop and maintain all sales reports and category scorecards for the Our Brands team

• Collaborating with supply chain on product forecasting

• Supporting in the creation of any in-store promotional material

• Partner with OB Product Developer in planning and managing the Our Brands product sampling store schedule

• Manage new item process including meeting all deadlines required by the pricing department.

• Assuring all vendors are up to date on all their vendor compliance issues.

• Manage weekly ad process for weekly flyers and ecommerce.

• Manage weekly store signing request

• Responsible for publishing weekly merchandising notes for all three banners, which will also include all daily communications to the stores and any holiday merchandising planners.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Familiar with Space planning software and order management systems

• Excellent communication & presentation skills (written and verbal)

• Strong analytical ability

• Strong ability to follow processes

• Strong ability to manage and interpret large amounts of data and provide insight

• Strong knowledge of syndicated data platforms

• Knowledge of store layout and product flow

• Ability to communicate and interact effectively and appropriately to a broad audience

• Ability to negotiate with internal parties

• Strong knowledge of applicable computer systems, to include excellent Excel and strong PowerPoint and Word skills

• Ability to work independently and manage conflicting deadlines

• Ability to work with ambiguous or little direction

• Must be able to operate independently and meet deadlines

Education: Two-year college degree or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training or additional job experience

Experience: Two years of directly related experience

Other: Some travel required. Maintain timely and regular attendance. Must be able to work overtime, when needed.

Physical: Basic office environment: ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and use stairs, reach, pull and lift objects
