To allow for growth and salary progression the full salary range is: $84,247.00 - $103,434.00 Annually
Positions with permanent duty stations in King County receive an additional 5% added to their monthly base salary. The salary listed in this announcement reflects the additional 5%.
Responsibilities:
The Recreation District Manager position works with the State Lands Assistant Region Manager to oversee the program’s budgets and lead recreation staff in efforts to secure and administer grants for the development and maintenance of sustainable recreation infrastructure and capital funding. This position will represent the DNR’s interests to Tribal partners, user groups, businesses, governmental officials, and the public where there is involvement in complex, sensitive issues affecting the district or programs. A central role of this position is to communicate DNR’s current and future plans with user groups, volunteers, adjacent landowners, tribes, the general public, and other government entities.
