Proof Operator performs a variety of clerical functions relating to check processing, deposits, withdrawals, and payments. Operates a proof machine which encodes and endorses checks and deposits. Being a Proof Operator finds errors and makes appropriate reconciliations, adjustments, and corrections. May be responsible for batching and distribution. Additionally, Proof Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Proof Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. New Milford Farms, a division of Garick LLC, is looking for a Loader Operator at our mulch, soil and composting plant in New Milford, CT.
Job duties include:
- Operates front-end loader to move materials and product as needed.
- Works as a part of the manufacturing team.
- Follows directions of supervisor to meet production goals.
- Obeys all safety standards and practices.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the assigned equipment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Full time hours with paid overtime as needed - 40 to 50 hours most weeks. Pay starts at $21/hour and is negotiable with experience.
Experience operating a front-end loader is required for this position.
Position requires the ability to sit, stand and walk for the duration of the shift without any physical restrictions. All staff must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
