Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Proof of Concept Engineering Technician/Model Maker to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.
The key responsibilities of this Proof of Concept Engineering Technician/Model Maker include, but are not limited to:
The proof-of-concept engineering technician will be responsible for managing the 3D printing lab, as well as fabrication of components/assemblies in both the 3D printing lab the engineering prototype lab, or "model making", and testing of the models as directed by the research and development design engineers. In addition to working on projects for the research and development team, the engineer will support all engineering departments in new product development including 3D printing and prototype building using a variety of equipment and tools in the engineering prototype lab. This individual will also be responsible for continuous improvement and maintenance of both labs as needed.
