Proof Brewing Co. Market Sales Representative

Overview

This Proof Brewing Co. Market Sales Representative is responsible for the sales and distribution growth of the Proof Brewing Co. brand portfolio, focusing on retail execution in key on-premise and off-premise accounts for the areas assigned.

Essential Responsibilities

* Represents the brewery in a positive and pleasant manner

* Works closely with other departments to ensure a clear understanding of current and future beer releases, associated styles and company culture

* Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with wholesalers and key retailers in the assigned territory

* Communicates market trends and relevant sales data to Sales Director and distribution partners

* Ensures that the brewery's quality standards are clearly understood and enforced by distributors and retailers

* Uses VIP and related distributor data and reporting tools to identify opportunities for new or expanded distribution, lost sales, incremental volume increases and related business insights

* Attends all brewery sales meetings as required

* Maintains an understanding of all legal restrictions regarding brewery products in each market and ensures all initiatives are executed within those limitations

* Available to work a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings and extended workdays as required

* Creates and executes promotions at current and potential retail accounts, festivals and related events

* Meets and maintains sales goals that are set quarterly by the Sales Director

* Travels within assigned territory to retail accounts and wholesalers

* Enters daily market activity and weekly recaps in customer relations management software

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Prior experience in alcohol sales either supplier side or wholesaler / distributor preferred

* Knowledge of the 3 tier system

* Knowledge of the Craft beer industry and brewing

* Microsoft 365 Suite proficient

* A self-starter with the ability to multitask and a strong desire to execute and win

* Attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks on time and independently

* Reliable with a consistent and strong work ethic

* Skilled in verbal and written communication and presentation

* Excellent planner with the ability to execute objectives efficiently

* Ability to frequently lift or move 10-25 pounds

* Clean driving record with reliable transportation

* High School Diploma or GED required with a Bachelor's Degree preferred
