Job Description
Property Accountant Associate
Our company is an operator of Manufactured Home and RV Communities, with 240 communities spanning 36 states. We are in need of a Property Accountant Associate, which is an in-office, high level support role for the Operations Team. This role will assist with administrative and accounting items directly related to property revenue and regulatory compliance.
This team member is responsible for completing a number of high level recurring tasks while also filling in as administrative support for the Regional Managers. Duties and tasks may include the following but may not be limited to this list:
· Tracking, renewing and organization of all property permits and licenses.
· Programming of any fees related to permits and licenses that are to be passed through to tenants.
· Working with the Regional Managers to assess each property's Proforma and tenant leases in order to track, schedule and properly notify tenants of annual Rent Increases.
· Working with the Regional Managers to plan, schedule and properly notify tenants of utility increases or separations when applicable.
· Assisting with the preparation and service of all notices in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with local and State laws and Company guidelines.
· Programming all rent increases and separations of utilities into Rent Manager, ensuring proper billing to tenants at the date that the billing change becomes effective.
· Managing the home office phone line, answering calls and routing the call information to the proper team member.
· Processing tenant payments that are mailed into the home office.
· Assisting the Regional Managers with various tasks that arise as a result of needing to step in for temporary employee gaps at the property level.
· Offering Regional support with new acquisitions by assisting with introduction letters, transfer of utilities, IT setup, permit and license transfers, etc.
